Everything you will see and experience has been hand-picked to inspire and engage in surprising ways. Every guest room and hallway features local Dallas Arts District photography, many inspired by our juried “Through the Lens” photography competition.

Join us for an exclusive art tour every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 4:30pm to 5:30pm for hotel guests only. Our Experience Curator will guide you through our privately curated art collection, to conclude with an exceptional HALL Wines tasting in Ellie’s.

David Yarrow

HALL Arts Hotel is proud to feature the works of renowned fine art photographer David Yarrow in our newest rotating gallery near Ellie’s. Born in Glasgow, Yarrow first gained international recognition for his iconic image of Diego Maradona at the 1986 World Cup. Today, he is celebrated for his striking wildlife photography, which has set records at auction and garnered widespread critical acclaim. A passionate conservationist and ambassador for Nikon, UBS, and Land Rover, Yarrow has also raised millions for charitable causes through his work—including through bestselling publications like Storytelling.

**Wet Wet Wet**
A rainy evening in Alaska during the 2023 salmon run — low light, a moving river boat, and a lucky moment that captured the bear's symmetry and gaze. Most frames were unusable, but you only need one.

**O Captain! My Captain!**
A Hail Mary image of a lion mid-leap, achieved through a heavy cage setup and split-second timing. Shot in South Africa with lion expert Kevin Richardson — a decade-long collaboration.

**The New Testament – BW**
Photographed in South Sudan’s Dinka cattle camps — a world that stands still while ours spins ever faster. With scale, smoke, and sunlight, this is a sensory overload meant to reflect a biblical metaphor.

**Wyoming**
Shot at -26°F before sunrise, this homage to trappers set against the grandeur of the Teton Mountains required careful timing, storytelling, and a brave horseman on a frozen lake

**The Jungle Book Stories**
There are only about 1,700 Royal Bengal Tigers left in India… to find a father and son bathing in the same pool in the jungle was statistically unlikely. The positioning of the adult tiger’s left ear covering his son’s right eye enhances the picture — evoking jungle book stories.

**Diamonds in the Sky**
A polar bear encounter on the North Slope of Alaska after 72 grueling hours. Subzero temperatures, choppy seas, and a big lens made this a true test of endurance — but moments like this make it all worthwhile.

Jo Temming

Jo Temming’s works are featured throughout our Gallery II and Studio private event spaces, infusing each room with depth and movement. Born in Seoul and adopted after being abandoned at age four, Jo’s unconventional life journey—from starting college at thirteen to earning advanced business degrees—has profoundly shaped her artistic voice. Her path to fine art began with early mentorship and formal training in printmaking, eventually leading her to develop a style that reflects both resilience and refined restraint.
